Job Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Generative AI Strategist to join our Generative AI Innovation Center in Milan. This role is ideal for experienced and motivated business-oriented technologists who possess a unique balance of business knowledge, effective interpersonal skills, and technological depth in areas such as analytics, big data, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to explore the art of the possible with generative AI and machine learning, developing roadmaps to deliver business value effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with AWS Sales, service teams, industry teams, and Professional Services to craft industry-specific programs that serve customer needs and extend to other customers within and related to the industry.
- Program Management: Leverage and refine programmatic approaches to help customers drive business metrics across industry-specific needs.
- Strategic Planning: Bring alignment between customer’s technologists and business leads, discussing complex industry-specific business concepts with executives, managers, and technologists.
- Sales and Marketing: Drive large, complex sales opportunities from ideation through vision building, scoping, closure, and delivery.
- Educational Outreach: Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep business discussions to ensure solutions are designed for business value and success.
About the Team
The Generative AI Innovation Center pairs you with AWS science and strategy experts to imagine new applications of generative AI, identify new use cases based on business value, and integrate generative AI into existing applications and workflows.

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or significant professional experience, expertise in consulting, design, and implementation of AI/ML solutions, and experience with cloud and on-premise integration.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholder demands, passion for designing innovative AI/ML solutions, and excellent presentation skills.
