About the Role

As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) at Microsoft, you will play a pivotal role in helping our customers design, implement, and operate Generative AI applications at scale. This position is part of the Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, which is dedicated to empowering customers to accelerate business value through differentiated customer experiences leveraging Microsoft’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Lead technical customer engagements, focusing on the most challenging and exciting projects within Microsoft Azure and GitHub. Engage with senior customer executives, enterprise architects, platform engineers, and developers to drive application innovation and AI transformation.
• Technical Leadership: Conduct deep technical architecture discussions and collaborate with internal and external teams to develop pilots and oversee implementation projects. Ensure technical blockers are removed to facilitate adoption.
• Solution Development: Act as the voice of the customer by driving feedback into engineering, providing insights on usage and application patterns, and accelerating solution delivery through Architectural Reviews, Proof of Concepts, and MVP applications.
• Customer Skilling: Support customer skilling by delivering technical discussions, workshops, and other cloud readiness activities. Ensure solutions exhibit performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability upon deployment.
• Growth and Innovation: Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results, help customers get value from their Microsoft investments, and identify resolutions to customer blockers. Stay current with the latest Azure, AI, and GitHub capabilities, and be a practitioner of enterprise languages such as .Net, Python, Java, and JavaScript/Node.js.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2+ years in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
• Preferred: Experience in a customer-facing role, technical projects, and technical certifications in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google). Proficiency in .Net, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python development languages and related frameworks.
