Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect - GenAI/ML

Job Overview

As a Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect focusing on GenAI/ML at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will be a key technologist with deep domain-specific expertise. You will address advanced concepts and feature designs, working with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. Your role will involve crafting scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address these challenges, guiding customers as they refactor applications or design entirely new cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Voice of the Customer: Represent customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical knowledge to domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader by sharing best practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.
• Partnerships: Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Community Development: Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Field Enablement: Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML technology domain areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
