About the Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer at PlayPlay, you will be an integral part of the Tech team, specifically within the DevSecOps group. Your primary mission will be to enhance the developer experience and improve the infrastructure, contributing significantly to PlayPlay's position as a global leader in video creation.
Responsibilities
- Level-up PlayPlay’s Infrastructure: Fortify its resilience and scalability.
- Enhance Monitoring Efficiency: Revamp the platform’s foundation using infra-as-code principles like Terraform.
- Streamline Deployment: Automate deployment processes to enhance efficiency.
- Shape DevOps Strategy: Develop strategies for future readiness and cultivate synergy with R&D colleagues.
- Empower Developers: Provide advanced tools and continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline for efficiency. Collaborate with QA to optimize testing strategies.
- Strengthen the Security: Enforce best security practices, monitor threats, and streamline security procedures through automation.
Ideal Candidate
- Mastery of a Cloud Service (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, resilient architectures.
- Proficiency in Infra as Code (Terraform).
- Advanced automation practices and tooling knowledge (GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Development skills in Python, TypeScript.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Embrace of DevOps methodology and SRE practices.
