Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning and expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), among other areas. This role is based in Lithuania but offers a flexible, hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home or our dynamic offices in Vilnius and Kaunas.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with EPAM's clients and internal teams to implement AI/ML-driven solutions.
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value to our clients.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
What You Have
- 5+ years of production experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.
- Expertise in Deep Learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Proficiency in Python ecosystem and data science libraries (pandas, sklearn, NumPy).
- Expert knowledge in at least one domain: NLP, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Vision, Time Series, Recommendation Systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- B2+ English proficiency, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with at least one Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
