Join Coinbase as a Data Scientist
At Coinbase, we are on a mission to increase economic freedom around the world, and we are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our product and decision-making processes, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to influence the roadmap and better understand our users.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform Analyses: Conduct analyses on our products to answer open-ended questions and provide strategic recommendations.
- Design Experiments: Guide experiments and analyses to measure impact and drive product improvements.
- Develop Metrics: Develop and maintain key metrics and reports, enhancing our data infrastructure for better analysis.
What We Look For In You
- Educational Background: At least a BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, particularly in driving impact for a digital product with an iterative development cycle.
- Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical concepts and practical experience applying them in A/B testing, causal inference, machine learning, etc.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis using SQL and programming/modeling in Python.
