Assembled is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the technical direction of significant new projects, providing leadership and mentorship within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and implementation of new projects and features.
- Scope projects and advise design, product management, and leadership teams on technical details.
- Provide technical mentorship to the engineering team.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, unblocking technical challenges for the team.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering in a full-stack environment.
- 1+ years of experience as a technical lead or senior team member.
- Proven ability to work with product and design teams to transform ambiguous problems into technical solutions.
- Experience in making well-thought-through technical trade-offs.
- History of mentorship and coaching other engineers.
