Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Marketplace team, which is pivotal in powering the ride experience. This role involves collaborating with engineering, product, data science, analytics, and operations teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge distribution.
- Share knowledge through brown bags, tech talks, and promoting best practices.
- Lead large projects from conception to positive execution.
- Unblock, support, and effectively communicate with internal partners to achieve results.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and distributed systems.
- Experience with databases, both relational and NoSQL.
- Ability to write clear, scalable, and concise design documentation.

Work Environment
This role is based in a hybrid work setting, requiring three days in the office per week. Additionally, there is flexibility to work remotely for up to four weeks per year.
