About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us enhance our insurance services. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in software engineering, a deep understanding of the software development process, and leadership skills. Experience in creating features and tools for the insurance industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Take the lead within your team, solving technical blockers and sharing industry best practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to deliver value to our customers.
- Code Development: Contribute to our code base using Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Postgres.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Find strategies and workarounds to unlock rapid experimentations and MVPs.
- Documentation: Own and maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure knowledge and insights flow freely.
- On-call Support: Be part of our on-call team to address production incidents.

Location
This role is fully remote, but candidates must be located in the US and able to travel once a quarter. Tint is unable to support candidates who require visa sponsorship.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role varies based on geographic location:
- Tier 1 (Bay Area, NYC, LA, Seattle): €128,000 - €175,000
- Tier 2 (Boston, Austin, Chicago, Denver, San Diego, DC): €115,000 - €158,000
- Tier 3 (Rest of the US): €109,000 - €150,000
