The Role
As a Lead Backend Engineer at Titan, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and extending our trading and account management infrastructure. Your work will support the transaction of millions of dollars a day by tens of thousands of clients. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and enhancing the core infrastructure of our systems.
- Working closely with Engineering Management and other team members to ensure stability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with design, product, and customer experience teams to deliver innovative financial products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of backend systems using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Mentor and guide other engineers in the team.
- Manage integration with complex, real-time external APIs.
- Ensure the systems are robust and can handle the demands of significant financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background with over 7 years of experience in building applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
