We are looking for passionate engineers to help us build out Data Sync, the foundation of HubSpot’s Operations Hub product. By connecting HubSpot to many business apps with a powerful two-way data sync, we unite all customer data in a single well-integrated CRM platform.

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of new and existing integrations on HubSpot data sync. This product is used by thousands of HubSpot customers as a critical process they rely on every day. You will have the opportunity to work with loads of third-party APIs and applications, drive improvements to these APIs through communication with partners, and help improve our custom-built integration framework.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy new and existing integrations on HubSpot data sync.
Work with third-party APIs and applications.
Drive improvements to third-party APIs through communication with partners.
Improve our custom-built integration framework.
Define the user-facing sync configuration in our Ruby DSL.

What We Are Looking For

Proficiency in one of the following: Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, or Go.
Enthusiasm for backend-specific integration issues.
Passionate, pragmatic, and resourceful problem-solvers who thrive on delivering exceptional experiences solving customers' actual problems.
Ability to take ownership, work collaboratively, and figure things out.
Willingness to dive into concepts you may be unfamiliar with.
Interest in working on a small, customer-driven development team of 3-5 engineers.
