Join Our Team as a Senior Software Engineer
PlayOn Sports is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Fan Experience Development team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our NFHS Network applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement cloud-native software solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Software Development: Spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement software solutions.
- Code Quality: Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to the team.
- Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue 3 (bonus for Nuxt), Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
- Database Management: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Cloud Experience: Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
- Video Experience: Experience with web multimedia and video.js is strongly preferred.
