About the Role

As a Senior Engineer at Factorial, you will be part of a dynamic team of over 150 product developers. We are looking for talented individuals who are curious, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be at the forefront of developing tools that help teams excel.

You will work in a multicultural, English-speaking environment where your technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and passion for user-centric products will directly contribute to our mission of improving HR processes for SMEs worldwide. You have the flexibility to work from home, in our Barcelona offices, or a mix of both.

Our technology stack includes Ruby on Rails for the backend and React/React Native for the clients. However, if you are eager to learn and have navigated diverse technical challenges, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of significant initiatives and focus on outcomes, not just outputs.
• Collaborate with team members to establish goals and plan a quarterly roadmap, with attention to technical needs.
• Influence requirements definition and deliver polished solutions autonomously.
• Participate in customer calls to understand their pains and needs.
• Review code daily and provide feedback on pull requests.
• Mentor junior team members and help them learn from your experience.
