LinkedIn is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Sales Productivity Engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and enhancing productivity for LinkedIn's Sales organization. You will be part of a dynamic team that builds solutions on a distributed microservices platform, integrating Azure cloud components with LinkedIn's native infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation: Architect, design, build, and ship software that boosts user productivity.
• Technical Leadership: Provide leadership and leverage best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs.
• Process Improvement: Develop strategies to improve internal processes and implement optimal solutions through technology and toolsets.
• Engineering Productivity: Identify and evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
• Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and across the broader R&D organization.
• Product Health: Advocate for raising and upholding standards of product health and reliability through enhanced validation.

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, C#.
• 2+ years of experience in an architect or technical leadership position.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS and 10+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 8+ years, or PhD and 6+ years.
• Experience in architecting and launching large complex projects.
• Experience in data governance, data engineering, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and common deployment models and infrastructure.
• Experience in strategic planning and executing long-term roadmaps.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in architecture, including performance, stability, and usability.
