About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Python to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to work on cutting-edge technologies. You will be part of a team that is responsible for building highly available, low latency microservices from scratch using the latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create developer-friendly APIs and build, test, and deploy applications to deliver critical global communications services.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to latency, scalability, and performance.
- Automation: Create tools to automate aspects of production systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our services.
Who You Are
- Experienced: You have 6+ years of professional software development experience with an object-oriented programming language, particularly Python.
- Knowledgeable: You have experience with web application development and are comfortable working with relational databases at scale.
- Skilled: You have deep knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and anti-patterns.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Prometheus, or RabbitMQ is a plus.
