Key Responsibilities

• Python Development: You will be tasked with building and maintaining efficient, reliable Python code for our LLM backend systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the robustness and scalability of our services.

• Collaboration: Work closely with compiler and research engineers to integrate backend services with our guided generation methods. This collaboration is key to driving innovation and improving our product offerings.

• Performance Optimization: Focus on optimizing backend components for high throughput, especially in data-intensive LLM operations. Your work will directly impact the performance and efficiency of our systems.

• Code Quality and Best Practices: Maintain high code quality and enforce best practices through code reviews, testing, and meaningful commit messages. Your attention to detail will help uphold our standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Python Expertise: You should have expert-level experience as a Python backend/systems developer, with familiarity in frameworks such as FastAPI, Twisted, and ASGI.

• API Development: While you understand the inner workings of frameworks like Flask, you prefer using community-supported software for API development.

• Large-Scale System Experience: You have a strong background in large-scale distributed systems and asynchronous network programming.

• CI/CD and Cloud Proficiency: Experience with CI/CD practices, Docker, and deployment on cloud providers like AWS is essential.

• Simplicity and Clarity: You value simplicity in your solutions and communicate clearly and concisely.

Bonus Skills

• Contributions to open source projects.
• Previous experience in building developer tools.
• Knowledge of Go or Rust programming languages.
