Job Overview
Bloomberg is seeking a Senior Team Lead for our Fixed Income Reference Data team within the Enterprise Data department. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic product roadmap and ensuring the delivery of high-quality reference data solutions that meet the complex demands of our clients in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
Product Management
- Display strong product management skills, handling data product specification, prioritization, and backlog management through an agile process.
- Build and execute the strategic product roadmap for Fixed Income Reference Data, aligning with the long-term vision.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with clients, Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to drive business growth in Fixed Income Data.
- Develop strong relationships with key clients to understand their challenges and evolve our offerings.
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of motivated product managers, providing development and coaching.
- Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Market and Data Expertise
- Demonstrate domain expertise in Fixed Income markets, including Bonds, Munis, Corps, and Cash structured products.
- Understand market structure and the factors impacting client challenges and priorities.
Innovation and Strategy
- Identify and implement improvements to workflow and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute go-to-market strategies and increase product awareness.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager with proven leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of Fixed Income Markets and capital markets.
- Strong communication skills to distill complex topics into clear messages.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages used in data science and analytics.
- Broad knowledge of various asset classes.
