Job Overview
Atos is seeking a skilled SIEM Engineer to join our team in Berlin, Germany. As a SIEM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients detect and mitigate cyber threats at an early stage. You will be responsible for implementing and managing Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) systems, analyzing potential cyberattacks, and developing strategies to enhance the efficiency of these systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects to implement SIEM systems in both on-premises and cloud infrastructures, as well as SOC services.
- Identify significant and interesting attacks on IT landscapes and applications.
- Utilize analytical methods to minimize the impact of attacks.
- Create result reports and serve as a point of contact for reviews.
- Develop improvement suggestions to enhance the efficiency of SIEM systems and sensors.
- Implement customized offers within existing customer contracts as change requests.
- Provide individual consulting to clients, capturing all customer requirements and supporting the development of customer-specific offers.
- Assist in developing service descriptions for independent customized offers for new clients, including boundary definitions, effort estimates, and conditions.
- Ensure timely delivery and presentation of results to clients, with the potential for follow-up projects.
- Communicate with subcontractors on overarching topics.
- Generate follow-up projects and build internal and customer networks.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of log management/SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK, MS Sentinel) or sensor infrastructures like firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus systems.
- Over 2 years of practical experience in integration, design, optimization, and consulting of the mentioned systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Preferred experience in monitoring large firewall networks, especially Barracuda, Checkpoint, Palo Alto.
