About the Role
As a Tech Lead Manager at Knot, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative products that enhance merchant and banking experiences. You will lead and manage a team dedicated to building, experimenting with, and debugging user-facing features on Knot’s CardSwitcher and Subscription Management products. Your primary responsibilities will include developing TypeScript across the stack, building user interfaces in React, and working closely with the product lead to deliver on an ever-evolving product roadmap.

- Develop TypeScript across the stack, building user interfaces in React.
- Work closely with the product lead to deliver on the product roadmap.
- Develop processes that make the team successful.
- Be accountable for making and delivering on team commitments.
- Pivot when necessary to keep the team focused on the most impactful work.
- Foster a culture of deep care for industry-leading user experience.
What You'll Need
- 4+ years in product engineering roles.
- 1+ years of experience managing other engineers.
- Track record of shipping high-quality code across the stack with proficiency in React/TypeScript, Laravel/PHP, and CloudSQL (or similar relational database).
- Excited to work with the product team on high level team direction, as well as dive into the details of individual problems on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability to tailor your management style to suit your team’s needs.
- Expert communication and ability to collaborate seamlessly with product teams.
- Experience with fintech or consumer apps is a plus.
