About the Role
As a Tech Lead Manager at Knot, you will be at the forefront of developing and managing our innovative merchant connectivity platform. This role involves leading a dynamic team of engineers and collaborating closely with product leads to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of engineers to build and enhance our platform, ensuring it meets the high standards of performance and scalability.
- Collaborating with product teams to align on the product roadmap and pivot strategies as necessary to focus on the most impactful work.
- Fostering a culture of excellence within the team, emphasizing the importance of industry-leading performance and scalability.
What You'll Need
To excel in this role, you will need:
- At least 1+ years of experience managing other engineers.
- A proven track record of shipping high-quality code with proficiency in technologies such as Node/TypeScript, Python, and CloudSQL or similar relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with product teams.
- Experience with backend web scraping is a major plus.
