Join Our Tribe as a Technology Intern
Digital Yalo, a full-service marketing agency, is seeking a Technology Intern to join our diverse team of creatives, brand strategists, technologists, and problem-solvers. This is a remote role, but candidates must live within driving distance of our Atlanta office for occasional meetings and team functions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technology Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Monthly Maintenance for Client Website Environments: This includes updating core code bases, updating plugins, and auditing SEO, page speed scores, and security vulnerabilities to add value for our clients.
- Quality Assurance Testing: Conduct testing of web properties and development updates to ensure high-quality standards.
- Front-End Development: Engage in front-end development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Content Authoring: Work within content management systems to change photos, add recipes, and more.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct analysis to keep our clients ahead of the competition.
- Task Management: Respond to assigned tasks in Jira and Asana efficiently.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Availability to work 15 - 18 hours per week.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science in the state of Georgia.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
