Introduction
IBM Automation is a comprehensive platform that integrates IT automation, network automation, and application integration. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be pivotal in helping clients across Central and Eastern Europe adopt these technologies, transforming their IT landscapes and businesses.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Act as a deep solution and technical subject matter expert for IBM Automation software projects.
- Help clients, business partners, and IBM account teams design and develop solutions that address business challenges and goals.
- Provide technical ownership of projects, ensuring technical accuracy and fit of the proposed solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, MVPs, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts.
- Initiate new opportunities, showcasing IBM offerings that add value to clients’ business.
- Coordinate pre-sales and delivery activities with internal and external service partners.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in IT Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring.
- Experience in Application Integration, API Management, Event-Driven Architectures.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with IBM Automation offerings like Watson AIOps, Tivoli, Netcool, Instana or competitive offerings from Dynatrace, AppDynamics, BMC, and others.
- Skills around API Management platforms such as IBM API Connect, WSO2 API Management, Layer7 API Management, Apigee.
- Experience with managed Kubernetes offerings like IBM Kubernetes Service (IKS), Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS), Google Kubernetes Service (GKE).
- Code development in Java, JavaScript, or other popular languages and frameworks.
