Job Overview
ListAcross is seeking a highly experienced and driven VP of Frontend Engineering to join our founding team. This role is crucial for driving frontend and mobile development as we build and scale our SAAS platform for peer-to-peer marketplaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the frontend roadmap for our SAAS platform, considering customer needs and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the CTO, CEO, product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and functionality.
- Develop, build, and maintain the front-end and mobile infrastructure using React and React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
- Develop, build, and maintain all new user journeys and effectively code merge with the backend.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in React, React Native, JavaScript, Express.js, Go, and Node.js.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, including road-mapping, cataloguing user feedback, rapid iteration, and prototyping.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (including jQuery), and proficiency with HTML and CSS.
- Experience with Puppeteer, Selenium, and Selendroid is a plus.
- Facility with peer-to-peer marketplaces (eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc.) is a must.
- Experience with eCommerce and Retail platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Desired Skills
- Experience with scalable design and implementation.
- Knowledge of machine learning, AI, chatbots, and natural language processing is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
Compensation
This role is part of the founding team and offers pure equity compensation commensurate with experience. Upon achieving certain revenue milestones or raising our next round, salary will be commensurate with experience and generous, potentially exceeding that of the CEO. This role offers tremendous upside for those who can make it a success.
