About the Role
As an Associate Developer Advocate at WP Engine, you will be at the forefront of fostering relationships within the web development community, specifically focusing on headless WordPress. Your primary role will be to educate and provide resources to developers, helping them to simplify the process of developing WordPress sites.
Responsibilities
- Produce educational technical content in various formats like blog posts, videos, webinars, and workshops.
- Host live, remote educational events on technical topics.
- Create demo codebases for training purposes and assist website builders.
- Maintain and contribute to our headless WordPress platform documentation site.
- Engage actively with community members in platforms like the Headless WordPress Discord server.
Skills & Expertise Required
- Passion for helping developers learn and succeed with their projects.
- Proficiency in building web apps using headless WordPress technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, WPGraphQL, and NPM packages.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in an engineering or Developer Relations role is a plus.
