Job Description
Do you love diving deep into developer experiences and uncovering insights that shape cutting-edge technologies? Are you passionate about influencing product roadmaps and driving continuous improvement? Do you thrive on translating developer feedback into actionable strategies? If so, then this might be your dream job!
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to join our Developer Insights team. In this role, you will lead our efforts to engage with developers, understand their needs, and bring valuable insights back to our service teams. You'll be at the forefront of improving developer experiences across AWS services, ensuring we deliver solutions that delight and empower developers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Developer Advocate on the Developer Insights team, your role is to be the voice of the developer within AWS, championing their needs and influencing the evolution of our services. You'll dive deep into new AWS services, push them to their limits, and then use your insights to drive real change.
- Collaborate with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps, advocating for features and improvements that will make developers' lives easier.
- Get your hands dirty with cutting-edge AWS services, exploring their capabilities and uncovering happy paths and pain points that could make or break a developer's experience.
- Dive into data, spotting trends, and translating complex patterns into actionable insights for our service teams.
- Create code samples, demos, and content that showcase the true potential of AWS services.
About The Team
We believe that a community of users is the happiest and best served when their voices are heard, when they feel they can impact the direction and quality of the products they use. You will engage with developers to identify and anticipate user challenges. You will represent the voice of developers within AWS during the key phases of product development. Developer Advocates on the Developer Insights team leverage their hands-on technical experience and data gathered from the community to influence the product roadmap. They will work alongside Product Managers and engineering teams to address developers' biggest challenges.
