About The Role
Abnormal Security is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Multi-Product Platform (MPP) team. This team is responsible for building the infrastructure, services, and features that form the backbone of our platform, enabling the creation and launch of new products. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will initially focus on customer integrations and platform development, eventually taking ownership of specific features, services, and infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and engineering managers to deliver on the product roadmap and meet company-wide objectives.
- Design, build, and maintain new high-performance, low-latency products and services.
- Work closely with engineering and product managers to assess trade-offs, develop plans, and build platform foundations to enable scalable product development.
- Optimize internal processes with automation to service customers with minimal human intervention.
- Set up and maintain instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting for our services.
Must Have
- 1-3+ years of experience working with relevant tech stacks, including Python (Django), Go, MySQL & PostgreSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Kafka.
- 1+ years of production support experience for enterprise-class customers.
- At least 1+ years of system design experience.
