About The Role
As a Data Scientist in the Marketing department at Twitch, you will play a pivotal role in driving our decision-making process. Data is central to Twitch's operations, and your work will directly influence the direction of our marketing strategies. You will report to the Marketing Data Science Manager and support our partners in executing impactful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build robust automated dashboards.
- Empower team members with self-service analytics for informed decision-making.
- Guide the building and strategy of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Analyze campaign performance to measure impact on creators, viewers, and the broader Twitch ecosystem.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests from start to finish.
- Assist with data collection for audience segmentation and campaign performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Data Analytics, or Operations Research.
- 1-3+ years experience in an analytics role, preferably in the consumer internet space or a high-velocity, high-growth product/business environment.
- Expert SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R.
- Strong experience in data visualization and statistical analysis.
Bonus Points
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Mode or other similar data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with the Twitch platform and gaming/media industries.
