About the Role
As an Associate Data Scientist at Coterie Insurance, you will be a crucial part of our Data & Analytics team. This role is perfect for someone who views data analysis as a craft and is passionate about using data to drive decision-making in the insurance industry. You will work remotely, collaborating closely with data science teammates, data engineers, business intelligence developers, and business owners to develop data products that enable Coterie to operate in a highly analytical environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data solutions that drive decision-making processes.
- Work on both internal and external data sources to create robust, extensible solutions that adapt with our growing business.
- Collaborate with a connected and talented team of data professionals to transform the insurance industry.
What You Need to Have
- Intellectual curiosity and a learner mindset.
- Self-starter attitude requiring minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure, automation tools, CI/CD, Databricks, machine learning, predictive modeling, and natural language processing.
- Version control experience.
