Role Overview
As a Founding Backend Engineer at Medbill AI, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the company. This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of the initial team, directly influencing the direction and success of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and the rest of the tech team to define and execute our roadmap, focusing on the development of our private beta set to launch later this year.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend systems and architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various software components.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of backend services.
- Lead technical projects from conception through to launch, including system design and feature rollouts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.
About You
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in backend development and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Proven track record of designing pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with healthcare data, complex integrations, web crawling, or AI-powered workflows is a bonus.
