Job Overview
Cacheflow is seeking a Founding Backend Engineer to join our innovative team in Mountain View, California. This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of the founding engineering team, directly influencing the technology, architecture, product, culture, and future direction of the company.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build core parts of the platform in collaboration with the CEO and CTO.
- Work on scalable, distributed backend systems using Go, Java, and Kubernetes.
- Engage in solid coding practices including writing technical specifications, peer code review, and comprehensive testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Participate in Agile development processes and continuous integration and deployment automation.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building scalable, distributed backend systems.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Passion for building great products and innovating in the fintech space.
