Since our launch less than a year ago, we have gained hundreds of customers who love our product, with revenue growing at 30% month-over-month.
Role and Responsibilities
As a founding software engineer, you will:
- Take responsibility and ownership of features and eventually entire new products.
- Write backend and/or frontend code for our AI property management system.
- Engage in anything else required, such as improving our AI system or working on the frontend/backend of our product.
What We Are Looking For
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You should be able to point to impressive software projects you have written on your own.
- Quick Learner and Curious: Ability to work fast and produce high-quality work.
- AI/LLM Experience: While not required, it is a plus.
- Passion for Startups: You should have built impressive end-to-end projects of your own in the past.
Work Environment
You will be part of our first round of hires and a core part of setting our culture. You will work directly with Besty's co-founder, Aarlo Stone Fish, a Yale Computer Science graduate with over 20 years of experience in building software used by thousands of paying customers. This role offers a lot of autonomy and responsibility, including talking to customers and attending industry trade shows.
