Job Overview
SafetyKit is seeking a Founding AI Backend Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. This role is crucial as we leverage language models to automate repetitive risk and compliance reviews, enhancing the capabilities of risk teams without the need to expand headcount.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web scrapers, document ingestors, and LLM evaluation tools.
- Experiment with and deploy new AI technologies, ensuring they are integrated and shipped promptly.
- Work closely with a dynamic team to invent and ship backend solutions that enable instant user integration.
Your Skills
- Proficiency in TypeScript and a quick learner of new technologies.
- Strong experience with Postgres, SQL, and AWS services like Lambda and Step Functions.
- Creative and careful thinking is required as we are pioneering in a new tech space.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience as an early or founding engineer in a startup.
- Familiarity with language models and vision models.
