About the Role

frog, part of Capgemini Invent, is seeking a motivated Generative AI Design Intern to join our team in Munich. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of design, strategy, and technology, focusing on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). As a Design Intern, you will support client-facing projects, pitches, and internal initiatives, helping clients enhance their digital product offerings through Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideation and Use Case Development: Collaborate with project teams to collect, ideate, and prioritize relevant use cases for Generative AI in a business context.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct foundational research interviews and usability testing sessions to understand user needs, market opportunities, and technical feasibility.
• Design and Prototyping: Create digital design artifacts such as user flows, UI mock-ups, and prototypes that demonstrate product behavior for defined Generative AI use cases and features.
• Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Work with cross-disciplinary teams to create digital product experience concepts that leverage Generative AI in unique and valuable ways.
• Communication and Knowledge Bridging: Bridge the knowledge gap between LLM developers and other team members, ensuring effective communication and understanding of AI capabilities and constraints.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new technologies and tools related to AI and software development.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Recently completed a university degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related design discipline. Interns in the middle of a Master’s degree are also welcome.
• AI and Machine Learning Knowledge: A good understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, especially LLM capabilities, advantages, constraints, risks, and common use cases.
• Design Experience: Hands-on experience designing and supporting the development of an LLM-based product or functional prototype.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Language Skills: Business level fluency in English and German.

Bonus Skills

• Mathematics and Data Science: Understanding of math and/or data science fundamentals related to machine learning.
• Programming Knowledge: Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile scrum tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
