Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Data Engineer to join our expanding Information Services (Applications & Data) department at Enstall. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing complex data systems on a global scale, requiring a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing data workflows and structures.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data architecture.
- Construct robust data pipelines.
- Ensure seamless data collection and integration across the organization.
- Optimize system performance.
- Manage data tools and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support and innovative solutions to enhance data infrastructure.
- Participate in project planning and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering.
- Expertise in Microsoft Technologies, especially Microsoft Fabric and SQL.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies and strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (primarily Azure, but also AWS) and their data services.
- Expertise in ETL tools and frameworks.
- Willingness to travel internationally if required.
Work Environment
This position entails working 32-40 hours per week at our office in Deventer, with the flexibility to work from home. You will be part of a dynamic team that fosters close collaboration and is dedicated to delivering solar solutions sooner.
