Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer at Aethon, you will play a pivotal role in transforming critical sectors through innovative data solutions. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to ensure data availability, reliability, and structure for analysis and reporting. This role involves close collaboration with data analysts, BI specialists, and other stakeholders to optimize data solutions that support our mission of making a positive impact in healthcare and other critical sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Integrate various data sources, both structured and unstructured.
- Optimize data architecture for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Implement and manage ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts and BI specialists to understand and support their data needs.
- Ensure data quality and security through best practices and compliance with regulations.
Your Talent
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their data services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Knowledge of data architectures and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Certifications in cloud platforms or big data technologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
