Senior Data Engineer (AI Technical Delivery)

Job Description

Fujitsu is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (AI Technical Delivery) to join our Artificial Intelligence Team in North America. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering customer engagements in the fields of Data, Analytics, and AI across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Industry Technical Solutioning: Develop solutions in Data, Analytics, AI, and Cloud solutions.
Data Ingestion and Processing: Lead the development of processes for ingesting and processing multi-sourced structured and unstructured data using SQL, Kafka, Scoop, Flume, HDFS, Hive, HBase, Impala, Spark, Python, and other tools.
Data Modeling: Develop and validate business stakeholders' conceptual data models, integrating new and existing data sources to deliver analytics requirements.
Data Storage Solutions: Build data storage solutions on premises and on the cloud, including data warehouses, data marts, and noSQL databases.
Scripting and Automation: Script in Unix/Linux shells and Microsoft Azure PowerShell.
Cloud Technologies: Work with evolving Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies.
Client Engagements: Deliver solutions to customers quickly, including Proof of Concepts/Proof of Value.
Communication: Convey complex technical concepts to business users and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data, Analytics, and AI.
Technical Skills: Experience with structured and unstructured data technologies, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
Client Interaction: Experience in creating and delivering pre-sale and delivery presentations.

Desired Skills

Advanced Education: Master’s degree in a related field.
Programming: At least 3 years of experience in Python coding and 1 year in Spark (Scala and Java) coding.
Database Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Hive, HBase, Impala coding.
Scripting: Experience in UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
