Lead Website Developer (Director Level)

Overview

Nextiva is seeking a dynamic and experienced Website Owner / Lead Web Developer with expertise in WordPress to join our innovative team. Reporting to the VP Revenue Marketing, the Website Owner/ Lead Web Developer will take full ownership of Nextiva's WordPress-based websites and drive continuous improvement and innovation to elevate the web experience, focusing on building a revenue-generating website and marketing-focused strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Ownership: Take full ownership of Nextiva's WordPress-based websites, ensuring their functionality, performance, and security.
• Vendor Management: Select, brief, and manage a creative web agency for redesign projects and WordPress re-platforming.
• Website Content Management: Oversee content creation, maintenance, and updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• User Experience (UX) and Design: Lead efforts to improve the website's UX, navigation, and overall design to enhance user engagement.
• Lead Generation and Conversion Optimization: Develop strategies to convert website visitors into leads through forms, CTAs, and landing pages.
• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize web analytics tools to monitor website performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Website Security and Compliance: Ensure the website's security, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Mobile Optimization: Ensure that the website is responsive and optimized for mobile devices.
• SEO and Organic Traffic Growth: Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience, with hands-on development experience focused on WordPress.
• 5+ years of experience in website management, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
• Expertise in WordPress, themes, plugins, and customization.
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing concepts.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
