Job Description
Porsche AG is seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our engineering team in Weissach, Germany. This role focuses on applying machine learning techniques to evaluate and enhance vehicle safety systems. You will be responsible for conducting research, preparing data, implementing machine learning methods, and analyzing results to improve the safety and performance of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature research to stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and vehicle safety.
- Prepare and cluster data for stochastic analysis.
- Implement and execute machine learning algorithms for data analysis.
- Identify and evaluate causal relationships in data.
- Prepare, conduct, and analyze sled tests in a vehicle environment if necessary.
- Compile findings into a comprehensive scientific report.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Specialization in vehicle technology, programming, finite element simulation, or biomechanics is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of finite element simulation methods.
- Understanding of vehicle safety and injury assessment.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
