Job Description
Join our team at Porsche AG as a Masterand focused on AI-based object detection and depth estimation for pre-crash estimations using synthetic data generation and sensor data fusion. This role is pivotal in advancing our driver assistance systems and highly automated driving technologies.
Responsibilities
- Sensor Data Fusion: Develop a sensor data fusion system for object detection and distance estimation.
- Machine Learning Model Training: Train and optimize machine learning models for object recognition using computer vision techniques.
- Synthetic Data Utilization: Leverage synthetic data to enhance model accuracy and robustness.
- Research and Development: Conduct literature reviews on existing datasets and models, and define the limitations of current methodologies.
- Testing and Validation: Create test cases to validate data and model methods.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Pandas, Numpy, and CV2. Knowledge of ROS and C++ is a plus.
- Language Skills: Good command of English and German.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong ability to work in a multicultural team and communicate effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive projects independently.
