About the Role
We are seeking a Medior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at BUX in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that supports our innovative financial services platform. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Own, maintain, and improve the critical infrastructure behind BUX, including GKE clusters, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and MySQL clusters.
- Automation and Security: Introduce more automation, audit, and access control to enhance infrastructure and application security.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Own and maintain our monitoring and alerting system to ensure optimal performance and security.
- DevOps Practices: Facilitate and adhere to best practices such as Infrastructure as Code. Work on improving the developers' experience by streamlining processes.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: You should have production experience with cloud environments, preferably GCP, and be proficient with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools like Docker Helm and GitHub Actions.
- Skills: Strong communication and people skills are essential. Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, MySQL, RabbitMQ, and operating JVM-based applications is a plus.
