About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team at Stream. This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing our AWS infrastructure, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our services that support billions of users globally. You will be working with a team of experienced engineers, contributing to the performance and maintenance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- AWS Infrastructure Management: You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and scaling applications within our AWS environment.
- System Monitoring and Security: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and security protocols to ensure system integrity.
- Automation and Observability: Enhance system observability and automate operational tasks to improve efficiency.
- Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with a team of seasoned engineers, sharing knowledge and learning from each other.
About You
- Experience with AWS: Proven track record in managing AWS infrastructure.
- Linux System Administration: Strong skills in Linux system administration and hardening.
- Scripting and Development: Proficient in scripting languages and developing full-stack applications.
- Network Infrastructure: Good understanding of both cloud and on-premises network infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with tools like Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation, and CDK.
Bonus Points
- Experience in managing enterprise-grade production environments.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and scaling high-traffic SaaS applications.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or CockroachDB databases.
