About the Role
As a Principal Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building new cloud-centric applications from the ground up. You will work on distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience. This role offers the chance to have a significant technical and business impact, as you will be part of a team that is growing fast and working on ambitious new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and operate highly-available, high-traffic web services.
- Design and build services that are scalable, redundant, and easy to operate.
- Collaborate with other cloud teams to accommodate their requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of system scalability and traffic handling.
- Engage in a dynamic and flexible workplace environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed service engineering in a software development environment.
- Hands-on experience with Java, C++, C#, and/or .NET, as well as scripting languages.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development within a cloud environment.
- Experience in a collaborative, agile development environment.
- Preferred experience with multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance.
