Senior Software Developer - Cloud Development

Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in cloud development, architecture, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality code to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure the adoption of best practices and alignment with the overall technology roadmap.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver features in a timely manner.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud development, architecture, and deployment.
• Strong development experience in Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience driving feature design reviews and documentation.
• Experience building event-based/streaming applications is a strong plus.
• Experience with data engineering and distributed computing architectures is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
