Job Overview
Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Software Development Engineer Co-op for a 6-month position starting in January 2024. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and developers at our state-of-the-art facilities in Westborough, MA. You will be involved in developing software solutions that integrate with advanced robotics systems, contributing to projects that enhance the operational capabilities of Amazon's fulfillment centers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software solutions to complex problems in the robotics domain.
- Collaborate with a team to design, test, and deploy robust software applications.
- Participate in daily scrums, project meetings, and code reviews.
- Create detailed design documents and ensure that technical specifications meet the needs of the projects.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform unit tests to ensure the reliability of software systems.
- Utilize Amazon's cutting-edge technology stack and development tools to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program with at least one semester remaining after the co-op.
- Available for a full-time 6-month co-op from January to June 2024.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in software development.
- Exposure to AWS, web technologies, and other relevant software tools is preferred.
- Interest in robotics and participation in related coursework or extracurricular activities is advantageous.
