Tech Product Manager Co-op - Amazon Robotics

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Tech Product Manager Co-op for a 6-month full-time position starting in July 2024. This role is based in the Greater Boston Area, specifically in our state-of-the-art facilities in Westborough, MA and North Reading, MA. As a co-op, you will have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities, providing a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology in a real-world setting.
Responsibilities
- Product Opportunity Identification: Determine operational and systems requirements for new products.
- Collaboration: Work with internal support, operations, and engineering teams to guide key product decisions using technical analysis, simulation, and data.
- Documentation: Prepare user and training documentation to support product launches and operations.
- KPIs and Goals: Establish and monitor team KPIs and goals to track progress.
- Presentations: Deliver analyses and progress reports within the team and to organizational leaders.
About You
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing an MBA or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related Engineering fields.
- Experience: At least 2 years in product management or a related field, with experience spanning both software and hardware products.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to Amazon sites across the USA for direct customer interaction and product understanding.

- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UX and/or Industrial Design, Human Machine Interaction, and a demonstrated ability to influence others and drive results.
