Job Overview
Amazon Robotics is seeking a highly motivated and talented Tech Product Manager Co-op for a 6-month full-time position starting in July 2024. This role is based in the Greater Boston Area, specifically in our state-of-the-art facilities in Westborough, MA, and North Reading, MA. As a co-op, you will have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities, providing a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge robotic technologies.
Responsibilities
- Product Opportunity Identification: Determine operational and systems requirements for new products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal support, operations, and engineering teams to guide key product decisions using a mix of simulation, technical analysis, and high judgment.
- Documentation: Prepare user and training documentation to support product launches and operations.
- KPIs and Goals: Establish and monitor team KPIs and goals; present analyses within the team and to organizational leaders.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MBA or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related Engineering fields.
- Must be available for a full-time co-op from July to December 2024.
- Experience (2+ years) in product management or a related field, with exposure to both software and hardware product lines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the engineering community to gain consensus on technical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UX and/or Industrial Design.
- Strong skills in Human Machine Interaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting requirements.
