Job Overview
Watermelon Tecnologia & Participações is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a leading venture builder and technology partner, we work with a diverse range of startups across various industries, providing innovative solutions and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software and web applications that meet the needs of our clients and partners.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications, ensuring they remain robust and scalable.
- Design testable and scalable code to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
- Identify and resolve bugs to improve the overall functionality and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in web services development.
- At least 1 year of experience with Oracle SOA Suite, including process modeling and orchestration (BPEL, OSB).
- Proficiency in Oracle databases and SQL, with the ability to develop in PL/SQL.
- Experience with Java and standards such as XML, XPath, XSD, and FHIR.
- Familiarity with development tools such as SVN, Eclipse, and JDeveloper.
- Experience with RESTful WebServices and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Strong analytical skills to analyze procedures and propose solutions.
- Ability to conduct functional and technical analysis to propose and implement solutions.
