What You'll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing new technologies for our flagship remote management & monitoring solution. Your work will empower Managed Service Providers to revolutionize their interactions with customers.
- Implement large-scale distributed systems focusing on scalability, latency, and fault tolerance.
- Develop system/component architectures and APIs for a rapidly scaling platform, ensuring successful product delivery and operational excellence.
- Conduct design and code reviews, raising the bar for engineering standards.
- Debug critical code to solve production issues across services and technology stacks.
- Continuously measure and optimize the performance, effectiveness, and uptime of services.
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying dissenting opinions constructively.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive software engineering experience with a focus on GO, Object-Oriented Programming.
- At least 5 years of experience with Linux distributions and command line, including writing bash scripts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, server-side technologies, HTML/CSS, event-driven architecture, large dataset processing, JDBC, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, talented team across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design for performance, scalability, and availability.
