Overview
Expleo Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and ensure the quality of the codebase through code reviews and testing.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and Core Java.
- Experience with Apache Ignite and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Professional experience with Python and/or C++ is a plus.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes is an asset.
- Language: Fluent in English.
