Role Overview
Join Vestiaire Collective as a Senior Software Engineer in our Lisbon office, where you will be a crucial part of the Conversion Squad. This role focuses on enhancing the buyer experience by reducing transactional friction and integrating innovative solutions such as new payment systems and fraud management systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the future of the Buyer Experience on the Vestiaire Collective platform.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Business teams to identify and prioritize key features.
- Write clean, concise, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support your work.
Who You Are
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a backend software engineer.
- You are autonomous and take full ownership of the architecture and technical design of the code you deliver.
- You have a strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and associated methodologies (SOLID, Domain-Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, etc.).
- You have professional experience in building scalable, maintainable, and robust backends, preferably using PHP or Golang.
- You are product-driven, focusing on the end-user experience when designing and implementing features.
- You are data-oriented and understand the importance of monitoring technical and business KPIs.
- You are familiar with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and their ceremonials.
